  • At New Masters Academy, Group Critique Sessions are an integral part of our educational approach, providing immense value to students who submit their artwork for review. These sessions offer a collaborative environment where students can gain insights not only from the critiques of their own work but also from the feedback given to others.

While we highly encourage students to participate in these Group Critique Sessions, it’s important to note that New Masters Academy does not guarantee that all submitted works will be reviewed.

The review of submitted works is subject to availability and discretion of our Coaches and faculty members. It's important to note that the opinions and critiques provided by our Coaches during these reviews do not necessarily reflect the official views or positions of New Masters Academy as a business. The perspectives shared by our Coaches are based on their individual expertise and experiences and are intended to contribute to the educational and artistic development of our students.

Priority Tracking System - Fair and Systematic Selection: Our priority tracking system is designed to manage the selection process systematically. This system tracks submissions based on the above criteria, ensuring that each review opportunity is utilized effectively.

Three Week Rule for Submissions to Critique Sessions: The 'Three Week Rule' at New Masters Academy is a policy established to optimize the learning experience for students and ensure fair access to critique opportunities.

Time Interval for Submissions: Students are required to wait for a three-week period after their artwork has been critiqued before they can submit the same piece for critique again. This interval is crucial to give students ample time to apply the feedback received and make significant progress in refining their work.

Purpose of the Rule: Encouraging Artistic Growth: The three-week gap is intended to encourage students to thoughtfully work on incorporating the critique into their art, fostering meaningful improvement.

Efficient Use of Critique Time: This rule helps ensure that each critique session is productive, focusing on artworks that have undergone noticeable development.

Submission to Different Coaches: While students must wait three weeks to resubmit the same piece to the same Coach, they are allowed to submit it to different coaches for diverse perspectives and insights.

Monitoring and Enforcement: Submissions are tracked to ensure adherence to the three-week rule. This tracking also helps in providing a fair and balanced opportunity for all students to receive critique.
